Thanks for visiting! Gleaming Gardens is a product line that I started in 2019. I make all my products myself, from the blown vessels to the macrame hangers I used to display them. There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and enjoy a peak at Gleaming Gardens!
My inspiration for Gleaming Gardens started with air plants. Seriously, what are you supposed to do with those awesome little guys? Then I remembered that I'm a glass artist. And the wheels started turning. My next big ah-ha moment came when I was introduced to the beauty of plant starts. Put a bit of pretty plant in water and watch root

And the wheels started turning. My next big ah-ha moment came when I was introduced to the beauty of plant starts. Put a bit of pretty plant in water and watch roots grow. Plant thrives with little to no work? That's my kind of gardening! So, I made glass to cater to myself and those who like the pretty with a little less worry.
I make all my glass product in beautiful Wallowa, OR. I hand blow each vessel keeping in mind how water, light, and roots will mingle once placed in a window. For my plant hangers I use macrame cord and the inspiration from the glass to produce hangers that are truly unique pieces of art.

I started my glass blowing adventure in 2010 in Lawrence, Kansas. From Lawrence, I moved across Missouri and took classes at Third Degree Glass Factory in St. Louis. My training really kicked off when I was able to begin an apprenticeship with Gabe Bloodworth at Springfield Hot Glass in 2012. By 2016 I was assisting as well selling my own work in The Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, Saint Luke's Hospital, GotArt Gallery and at local art fairs. In 2016 I accepted a position at Pilchuck Glass School as their Co Chef for the season. After that transforming experience I moved to Eastern Oregon and kept the glass rolling with Russell Ford at MoonShine Glass. Shortly after moving to Wallowa County, I enrolled in the wonderful IDA program that Oregon has to aid in small business. In 2019 I was able to purchase my own equipment after three years in the program. I am so excited to be setting out on my own two feet and to see where this road takes me!
